ROADMAP TO THE 2025 WORLD CONGRESS ON ENFORCED DISAPPEARANCES

The World Congress on Enforced Disappearances is an initiative of CEDI, which is a multi-actor initiative aimed at contributing to the fight against enforced disappearances by promoting the universal  ratification and effective implementation of the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance.

CEDI will organize a multi-actor World Congress on Enforced Disappearances in 2025 that will bring together civil society organizations, including associations of families, States, international bodies and experts.

Its objectives are to agree on a common strategy and action plan to promote the ratification and implementation of the Convention, put CSOs back at the centre of joint efforts and facilitate intergovernmental dialogue.
